Calibre Engenium is a leading specialist railway engineering and project management company with a number of large scale rail construction projects and exciting plans for further expansion.

We are seeking applications from highly motivated and eager individuals to fill the role of Recruitment / Human Resources Advisor.

The role involves:
  • The recruitment of skilled personnel across the Calibre Engenium business units.
  • Liaison with management and supervisors to identify recruitment needs and provide assistance with the implementation of human resources initiatives to support organizational development.
  • Develops recruitment strategies and programs to attract quality applicants.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with external recruiters and employment agencies to source qualified candidates.
  • Administration of employment offers and contracts.
  • Assist with arranging training and development for personnel.
  • Assist with implementation of the performance management program.
  • The provision of generalist HR advice.
To be successful in this role the applicant would possess:
  • Minimum of 5 years HR Engineering-based or Mining-related industry experience.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
  • Good communication skills with an empathetic approach.
  • Ability to negotiate and influence people and/or teams.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Ability to maintain composure under all circumstances.
  • Ownership, responsibility and accountability for the tasks undertaken.
  • A proactive nature with the desire to learn and assist where necessary.
